Perfect for Solo Travelers!

I spent 2 nights there and let me tell you, the breakfast was healthy, plentiful and delicious. The room was airy, looked onto a beautiful garden, and I felt like Antonia and Colin really made an effort to make me feel at home, especially their sweet little dog Teddy! Even that classic furniture brought character to the place, making it feel cozy.

I mean, it wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly, it was still acceptable for the quality I received.

I enjoyed the comfort of my room, which had a nice view and included a kettle for tea. The surrounding area had parks with river walks just a short distance away. It was great to relax in a peaceful environment after exploring the city. One memorable moment was chatting with the hosts and their friendly dog while enjoying breakfast.

The garden area is perfect for lounging with a good book or enjoying a cup of tea while taking in the fresh air. The mattress left something to be desired in terms of comfort, not the worst, but definitely not dreamy either, and the duvet combo could get too warm, especially in summer—keep the window open or ask for adjustments if you need to cool off. Light sleepers should note that the sounds of the nearby trains can seep in at night, potentially interrupting rest.
